Ingredients:
- Parboiled cooked rice- 5 cup
- Tomato-2 large(chopped)
- Capsicum-1(chopped)
- Cumin seed-1 ts
- Black pepper-1 ts
- Bay leaves-3 pieces
- Cardamom-4 pieces
- Cinnamon stick-3 pieces
- Turmeric powder-1/2 ts
- Butter/ghee-4 Tbs
- Salt-1 and 1/2 ts or according to your taste
Procedure:
- Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seed, bay leaves,cardamom and cinnamon stick. Stir for few seconds. Add tomato,capsicum and turmeric powder. Stir around 2-3 minutes.
- Add rice, salt and black pepper. Stir thoroughly to mix all of the spices.
- Stir in medium heat around 4-5 minutes. Remove from the pan and serve.
