Ingredients:
1. 500g (1 lb) ground beef or mutton
2. 2 slices loaf bread
3. 2 teaspoons tomato sauce

5. 1 tablespoon poppy seeds, paste
6. ½ teaspoon chilli powder (optional)
7. 1 teaspoon ground ginger
8. ½ teaspoon ground mace
9. ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
10. ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
11. ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
12. 2 crushed cloves
13. ½ teaspoon ground mint leaves
14. ½ teaspoon ground coriander leaves
15. 1 cup crumb of biscuit
16. 2 eggs
17. Oil for frying and salt to taste
Cooking Process:

- Soak the bread in water. Squeeze water out. Except the crumb, egg and oil combine the remaining ingredients and mix them thoroughly.
- Make 6 portions. Pat each portion to make round flat kebab like hamburger steak. Cover with the crumb.
- Heat oil 5 cm (2”) deep in a wok. Beat the egg lightly. Dip kebab into the beaten egg, then drop into the oil.
- Sprinkle some beaten egg on the kebab with a pasty brush or fingers. Fry both sides light brown.
- Remove on kitchen absorbent paper.
Serve with vegetable-salad and bread, pullao or boiled rice.
