Luchi is a part and parcel of Bengali Cuisine. Luchi is considered as a snack. Generally luchi is eaten in the afternoon or evening. It is a popular recipe. India is famous for preparing luchi. The Indian people like to eat luchi with curry. In Bangladesh luchi is prepared mostly in the restaurants. It is considered as a delicious Bengali Cuisine. 1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Oil for frying
Salt to taste

* Rub 2 tablespoons of oil into flour. Dissolve salt in water and add to the flour.
* Knead well. Make 8-10 balls. Cover and leave to rest for 20 minutes.
* Roll out each ball into a small disc.
* Heat oil. Fry in deep fat. While frying turn once and remove on an absorbent kitchen paper.
Serve with potato curry, kebab or vegetable niramish.
