

* 2 cups cauliflower
* 1 cup diced turnip
* 1 cup diced kohlrabi
* 1/2 cup diced potato
* 1/2 cup diced carrots
* 1/2 cup green peas
* 2 cups coarsely chopped cabbage
* 1/2 cup yogurt, beaten
* 2 teaspoons ginger paste
* 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
* 1/4 teaspoon finely chopped onion
* 1 tablespoon ground coriander
* 4 cardamoms
* 3 sticks 2.5 cm piece cinnamon
* 6 green chillies
* 1 tablespoon lemon juice
* Salt and sugar to taste

1. peel, wash and dice the turnip, kohlrabi, potatoes and carrot. Cut the cauliflower into florets.
2. heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onion light brown.
3. Add the potatoes, carrot and all the spices except the green chillies and sugar.
4. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
5. Add salt, yogurt and 2-3 cups of water.
6. Cover and boil over moderate heat till the gravy thickens and vegetables soften.
7. Add the sugar, green chillies and lemon juice. Keep over very lo heat until oil surfaces.
Serve hot with pullao, luchi or parata. 6-8 servings.
