Potato with Tomato

The word "tomato" comes from the Nahuatl word tomatl, literally "the swelling fruit". The tomato is native to South America. Genetic evidence shows the progenitors of tomatoes were herbaceous green plants with small green vegetable and a center of diversity in the highlands of Peru. Tomatoes are grown all over the world. Tomatoes are juicy vegetable. Besides, potatoes are also grown all over the world. Potato with tomato is a common recipe. It is a delicious recipe as well. Tomatoes contain vitamin C. Tomatoes are very beneficial to our health. Tomatoes are used not only as curry but also as salad. Everybody can cook this recipe without any hesitation. The cooking process is very easy. The cooking process is cited below;
Ingredients:
03 (300gm) potatoes,
02 (150gm) tomatoes (chopped),
1 tablespoon chopped garlic,
2 tablespoons cooking oil,
Salt to taste.


 Directions:
* Boil and cut the potatoes into cubes. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the garlic light brown.
* Add the tomatoes, stir until soft. Add the potatoes. Stir and fry for 1 minute.

Serve hot. Makes 2 servings.
