Thick Lentil

Thick lentil is very common recipe in Asia. Recipes for lentils are very famous all over the world. A lot of lentils are grown in Asia. Thick lentil is delicious food.  Recipes for lentils are suitable for those people who always eat bread. I had a great desire to prepare recipes for lentils. So I started for preparing this recipe. Lentil, onion, ginger, garlic, oil. green chilli, salt etc. are needed to prepare thick lentil. The method of preparation is easy. the preparation is cited below;
Ingredients:
1 cup red lentil,
1 tablespoon chopped onion,
1/4 teaspoon minced ginger,
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic,
1 tablespoon oil,
2 green chillies,
coriander leaves (chopped),
Salt to taste.

Preparation:
* Combine the ingredients in a saucepan. Mix them well. Add 3 cups of water. Cover and cook over moderate low heat for 30 minutes.
* Add the green chillies and coriander leaves. Keep over low heat for 5 minutes. Stir to mix well.

Serve hot with boiled rice or chapatti. 4 servings.
