Fried Okra

Okra is a common vegetable in Bangladesh. It is one of the most healthy recipes of the world.  Okra can be cooked in many ways. One of them is fried okra. Okra grows in plenty in the south Asia. So fried okra is one of the most healthy recipes in south Asia. It is green in color. This recipe is very tasty and nutritious. Fried okra is a healthy recipe because it helps to build up our body. Its cooking process is very easy. the cooking precess is given below;
Ingredients:
200 gm (8 oz) okra,
2 tablespoons sliced onion,
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric,
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin,
2 tablespoons cooking oil,
Salt to taste.

Cooking Process:
1. Wash okra drain water. Snip off both ends, slice 1/2 cm thick.
2. heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the okra, onion, turmeric, cumin and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally for 6-7 minutes.
3. Remove from heat .

Serve hot with pullao, boiled rice or chapatti. Make 2 servings.
