Ingredients:
½ kg (1 lb) chicken breast,
1 teaspoon ground mustard,
½ teaspoon ground black pepper,
1 teaspoon ginger paste,
1 teaspoon garlic paste,
1 teaspoon chilli powder,
½ teaspoon ground turmeric,
¼ cup yogurt,
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce,
¼ cup mustard oil,
4 medium-sized tomatoes, onions and chillies,
Salt to taste,
12 skewers, 20 cm (8”) long.
Step 01:
Cut the meat into 3.5 cm (1.5”) cubes. Cut the tomatoes and onions into squares.
Step 02:
Mix together the spices, yogurt, sauce, salt and 1 tablespoon of oil. Add the meat and mix thoroughly. Marinate for 30 minutes.
Step 03:
Skewer the meat, tomatoes, onion and chillies alternately. Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan and arrange the skewers in one layer. Pour in the marinade and fry the meat brown over high heat turning the skewers time to time.
Serve hot. Yields 6 servings.
